What Gifts Did 2019 Give You?

What were the greatest gifts 2019 gave you?

And I don’t mean material things. My mentor Gay Hendricks recently told me, “The most valuable things in life weigh the least." He inspired me to take inventory of the incredible gifts I got this year. Here’s a few:

BELIEVING IN LOVE AGAIN

I didn’t realize how closed off to love I was after my divorce. My heart is now open!

DREAMING AGAIN

My best friend was killed when I was 17. She was my dreaming partner & after that I stopped dreaming. Now I’m dreaming again & it’s an amazing gift.

LIBERATION FROM OLD FEARS

The fear of hell was embedded in my being due to old religious programming. It was the toughest work I've ever done & the most fruitful.

REPAIRING RELATIONSHIPS

I made amends to 23 current & former Poo~Pourri employees, knowing I wasn’t always the kindest boss. The tears we shared were healing for all.

RECONNECTING WITH MY BODY

I was raped at 16 & had never processed it. After finally doing so I cried for a couple days, grieving what I lost. It’s beautiful when we get to the other side of trauma.

BECOMING AN EPIC LEADER

Life placed me back in the seat of running Poo~Pourri. I reconnected & reintegrated myself as the leader I knew I was yet was terrified to be.

BECOMING A TRANSFORMATIONAL TEACHER

I wrote an abundance course 14 years ago. This year 25 amazing women gave me the gift of receiving & practicing these teachings.

DISCOVERING MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD

Through my inner work this year I realized that trauma fully felt leads to an amazing rebirth of self. I'll spend my life encouraging us all to brave the places we fear.

All of these came from facing old traumas & daring to have the "sweaty 10 minute conversations" as Gay calls them. No planning—just surrendering to what life brings & digging deep to find the root of those experiences. I see my reality changing as I change inside, leading to more loving relationships & deeper connections than I dreamed possible.

Thank you to the angels that challenged, guided & loved me through the best year of my life.
